About Us
We're sick of the fashion industry choosing cheap production at the cost of nature's health and our health. That's why we started a movement to change the standarts of the industry.
We can't afford cheap energy
Energy is being wasted because companies choose non-renewable sources like coal to lower costs. These choices cause massive emissions. The fashion industry is the second-largest industrial polluter, releasing roughly 2 billion tons of CO2 every year.
Hidden costs of cheap materials
Non-organic cotton and cheap paint contain chemicals and toxins that are harmful to us humans. These substances end up in the water and ecosystem we rely on. Another substance that finds its way there is microplastic. Because costs are being reduced by putting polyester in our clothes. Plastic is the go-to cheap material for packaging nowdays, which adds mountains to the plastic waste. These standarts won't change unless we do something about it.
How are we eco-friendly?
We are partnering with two companies whose values align with ours. Both of their main purposes are to do good for our enviroment.
Stanley/Stella is responsible for our blank clothes. They provide detailed enough information about themselves on their website, but here’s a quick summary: They are fully transparent about their supply chain. They hold multiple strong certificates. The paints they use are natural and toxin-free. All products they produce for us are made from 100% organic ringspun combed cotton.
Shirtigo handels our fullfilment. We chose them because they offer plastic-free packaging and use 100% green energy, even for shipping. They also print our logo with mashines designed to use less water.
